With art, people buy what they have seen. So the website shows the works large and in good quality, sorted by series, with a page of its own for every work: size, technique, year and, if it is available, the price. Biography and exhibitions sit alongside, for everyone who wants to know who is behind the pictures.
Originals and prints can be bought or asked about directly. Many buyers are abroad; so the website speaks several languages, and each language has its own address, so that it is found in search too.
Large photos must not take long to load on a phone: each picture arrives in the size the device needs, and only once it comes into view. Anyone interested in a work writes with a single tap, by email or on WhatsApp.
Not designs: two websites for artists that I built and that are live today. The details about the artists come from their own websites.
Oksana Fedotiuk is an artist. She paints oil pictures on canvas and designs walls: house facades, restaurant and café rooms, homes and business premises.
The website is in German, English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian. It sorts the murals into facades, interiors and branding for business. Every oil painting is shown with its number, technique and year; the ones that are available also show their size and price and can be ordered directly.
Iwan Kulik is an oil painter, based in Warsaw since 1990. Over 4,000 canvases in five thematic cycles, drawn from world literature.
The website is in German, English, Polish, Ukrainian and Russian. Each of the five cycles has a page of its own. The works that are available are shown with their number, size, technique and price and can be bought directly, with a certificate of authenticity.
